Prebuilt Marketplace

Uploading and Previewing User Created Prebuilts:

While I know this was a planned feature years ago, but got shelved due to there currently being no reliable way for users to upload screenshots into a game. I believe there is an alternative way to display prebuilts uploaded by other users. Prebuilt could be shown as a 3D model that players can view (Kind of like how you view UGC items in the Roblox catalog). Alternatively, Players will be given the option to preview another user’s prebuilt by loading the plot into a single-player server that is dedicated to viewing prebuilt plots. Having this as a separate server from the main game allows for users to preview and load as many desired plots as they want without disrupting the main game.
While in this server, the map is limited to a single, isolated plot, moods do not deplete, jobs can not be accessed (since the main map is not loaded in), and build mode can only be used to view the entire layout.

Reward System (What’s the insensitive for users to upload their builds?)

The rewards players could receive for having one of their prebuilts get sold varies depending on the amount of sales they’ve received and the value of their plot. If a plot they have uploaded on the marketplace is worth 0-500k, they will earn around 10k for every 5 sales. If a plot they’ve plot is worth anywhere from 501k-1M, then that reward increases to 15k every 5 sales. 1M+ plots will receive 20k every 5 sales. TO PREVENT FARMING, there would be a cap placed at 50k (100k if you have the premium pass), once that cap has been reached, there will be a 24 hour cooldown before that cap is reset. The money cap is universal, meaning that if you have multiple plots on sale in the marketplace, you can still only make 50k a day from the marketplace. There could also be milestones for reaching a certain amount of sales that reward a trophy and blockbuxs.

Moderation and Uploading limit:

To make moderation easier, players can only submit one plot a week using in-game cash or blockbux. If they want to submit any additional plots before that time, they must pay a robux fee. Submissions will be taken into review and will take a long time for approval. If a user wishes to have priority approval, they could pay a Robux fee (Should be higher than the extra submission fee) to have their plot be reviewed faster. Builds should not be approved if they go against Roblox and Bloxburg’s TOS, are duplicates of another plot, have expensive items hidden within the plot to boost the value of it, etc. If a plot is denied, the user is given one warning, and repeated offensive will be met with a temporary ban from submitting builds onto the marketplace. Once a plot is approved, it will either be released into the marketplace, or be uploaded with other approved plots in a future update. The amount of plots approved for a month would be up to your team.

Conclusion:

Overall, having a prebuilt marketplace system in Bloxburg would be healthy for not only the player base, but for the monetization of the game as well. It allows role players to have a wider variety of builds to choose from without needing to go through the process of building. This also gives builders the ability to upload their work and make passive in-game cash that can be applied towards future builds. This system would also inspire users to buy other building game passes, since users will be required to own any passes that were used in the build before buying the plot (EX: If a build was made with the basement pass, any user wanting that build will also need to own the basement pass). While I understand that this is a very ambitious idea, I hope it is one that is taken into consideration.
