Interactive Hotel Management System with NPC Guests and Dynamic Pricing
GAMEPLAY CONCEPT: NPC Hotel
& Resort Management System
Summary: Introduce a new interactive
business system allowing players to build functional hotels on their plots where game NPCs (bots) can check in, rent rooms, and pay daily accommodation fees.
The Luxury & Pricing Tier: Players can manually set the nightly rate for each room. However, the maximum price cap will be dynamically determined by the room's total value (quality of furniture, decorations, lighting, and size).
For example, a shabby or budget hotel might have a maximum daily rate of around 30-50 (in- game currency), whereas a higher-quality one could cost up to 200 or more per day/night.
NPC Behavior & Reputation: If a player sets a price too high for a low-quality room, NPCs will refuse to check in or will leave negative reviews. High-tier luxury suites will allow players to charge premium rates, directly rewarding advanced builders and expensive furniture choices.
Maintenance Loop: To keep generating passive income, players must maintain the hotel by cleaning rooms after an NPC checks out and ensuring basic amenities (like food or working plumbing) are available.
Monetization Potential: This adds great value for premium content. Developers could introduce a "Hotel Manager" Game Pass that unlocks extra room slots, allows hiring NPC janitors/maids, or boosts overall guest satisfaction.
Why it benefits the game: It offers a fun, rewarding alternative to traditional grinding jobs, deeply connects building mechanics with gameplay, and keeps players engaged for hours managing their businesses.
This idea could be fun for the game Bloxburg (I spent about an hour thinking of it; I'd really love for them to add it to the game).
