Add the Neon material, that comes with Roblox Studio as a default material, as a new material. It would help a lot with making custom light features look more convincing. It should also be noted that adding a custom material/texture feature wouldn't solve this suggestion, as the Neon material has special qualities to it that can't be replicated with custom textures alone.
