Currently whatever is selected is centred at the mouse. As we just finished dragging a box, this often means the selection jumps a long way away from where it started.

For me personally, the most common uses of these tools is to place things very close to where they started: copying iterations next to each other, or moving a selection 1 tile up, for example. So the way the selection jumps is quite disorienting and unhelpful to what I'm trying to do.

If it instead moved as much as the mouse moves after selecting, it would do exactly what I want it to do. No need to re-line-up things each time. And moving things 1 tile over would be very easy and quick.
