I'd like to be able to set a maximum number of items smaller than 480 per port. If I have a storage depot feeding the port I'd rather it not dump half its contents into the freight hub, especially since it's a lot of effort to then remove those items if I want to reuse the port for something else. Otherwise I'd have to clear the port and lose them all.
