I've only just started upgrading my extraction facilities to level 2 speed and there's a bit of an issue where each upgrade will cause me to have to redo my layouts. So the best thing to do is to wait until I have enough cubes to upgrade them all at the same time. So I'm just leaving the game on idle to slowly let my blue datacubes accumulate at 25/min until I can unlock them. It's at an odd point where if I try to increase my blue datacube production it would have taken just as long as to wait it out since I ran out of blue pigment and would need to make whole new production chains to get more.
