You just do not get enough yellow science and even with 2 Superior Processing Plants the last few yellow techs take forever to unlock.
Instead of doubling those I'd rather use to space for another interesting challenge.

MOD-I rewarded (80+120+160) x 3 = 1080 yellow science, I say a tier above this would be a nice step towards Mech Assembly: Large, all those crane and skyline updates and whatever the red tier requires.
