Can we get a key to hold that will allow us to force build?

Say for instance we build a splitter with the input on the wrong side. Instead of exiting build, then deleting the splitter, then entering build, flipping, then building again, we could flip, then force build it over top of the existing structure.

right now it looks like we can build over belts and the belts are removed, so being able to Shift click to force build over buildings would be nice.
