When copying / moving high aspect-ratio selections (typically skylines, long belts, or tunnels), the "hologram" jumps when the selection is done being made. This is a bit jarring and especially annoying when the selection went off-screen. I suggest that the hologram, instead of being centered on the cursor, should be offset such that if the cursor doesn't move, it'd overlap the selection exactly.
There are some caveats regarding this, namely how to handle rotations / mirroring.
Additionally, I find the centering behavior quite useful as well, hence I'd only apply this suggestion to selections above a certain aspect ratio.
