Adding of ALPR to VDPS cars

  • Currently they cannot read LP's and only read speed via radar. -Should have ALPR as Texas DPS does have them on most recent patrol units. Adding of certain VDPS units to have grapplers. Texas DPS does use grapplers for pursuit units and specialized ones. -Would be a great insert or a great rank locked vehicle say for Supervisors and higher. Certain cars mentioned below like the Hellcat and Dodge charger pursuit units such as VHP's CIU Pursuit units aswell as the Ford Super duty's which are already in-game should have a grappler. -Specialized models like the Dodger Charger (CIU-Pursuit) Insert (CIU Pursuit or an entirely new Texas DPS Charger Insert if added) and a (VDPS Hellcat Insert (If added to VDPS)) should have a grappler. These cars are meant to pursue and bring chases to a safe stop. -Supervisor Ford Super Duty's should be given a grappler due to their low speed of around 100 Mph. (Would be a decent balance for them.) Benefits (Clear cut) Ford Super Duty (With Grappler) - Brings a balance of low speed with a grappler and makes safe pursuit ends alot more achievable for those whom use it. This Truck should be rank locked to supervisor.

Dodge Charger Insert (CIU) Even if it is FHP based. It is not FHP therefore should have a grappler as its a specialized pursuit insert that is now on VDPS. - Would probably make this car worth the 70 Dollar price tag since it has low speed (160) compared to most sports cars on civilian which usually go range from 160-200+. This also coming from someone who has bought the insert.

VDPS Hellcat Insert - Texas DPS has a hellcat. This is a specialized pursuit unit therefore should also get a grappler. Either the grappler or a PIT or Push Bar if it is decided to be added. - Assuming this would cost around 80-90 Dollars if it does get added with a grappler it would be worth the price tag and likely sell out quickly.

The grappler would be a game changing tool for VDPS. if it is added Units with the grappler should be kept in low amounts to preserve the balance when it comes to pursuits. We don't want it to be like ERLC where everyone has a d*** grappler. If an Insert is added it should be stocked up to like 30 or 40 cars and should cost a higher amount compared to the HCSD Hellcat which is 80 dollars. This insert should be probably 90 dollars and with 30-40 Units of stock.

I would like to bring up the topic of the CIU Charger insert on VDPS most people who have this insert feel a sense of unsatisfactory with it. The car has a high price tag of 70 dollars yet cannot catch up with most civilian sports cars despite its specialized role of a pursuit unit. This is why I push for a grappler to be put on it if the speed and acceleration is kept the same.

I would also like to say once again that units with the grappler should be either specialized insert with low stock count and high pricing. Or Supervisory Units with low car counts in-game. There should be 2 units with a grappler if the Ford Super Duty with the grappler is added. (This should be rank locked to (Sergeant or Major+)
