ALPR (Automatic License Plate Reader) Dash Cameras
​Manually opening a Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) and typing a plate while trying to pursue a vehicle at 100+ mph is incredibly difficult.

​How it would work: An toggleable ALPR system built right into the police cruisers. As you drive behind a vehicle, the dashcam automatically scans the plate of the car directly in front of you.

​The Benefit: It instantly displays a small UI notification on the side of the officer's screen showing the vehicle's registration status, insurance, and if the owner has active warrants, allowing officers to keep their hands on the wheel.
