Per the department policy for uniforms, plain clothed officers must at LEAST wear a badge clearly displayed. Therefore, add a badge to VHP locker room or belts please. And clear up the confusion on the policy. It says two different things but also saying the same thing conflicting itself. Says plain clothes needs a badge. But also says all officers patrolling must have a belt and other stuff. The plain clothes policy is very broad and up for personal opinions. To me, it says as long as im not patrolling and doing other stuff like warrant stings, I am fine.
