Steps to Reproduce
- Loading the game normally
- Being hit with initialising shaders
- No amount of waiting or restarting the game fixes it
Explanation
INITIALISING SHADERS. since the rift update every time i open the game im stuck on initialising shaders, my drivers are updated, my computer can run dbd on max settings, etc. many others have experienced this bug the only thing that fixes it consistently is launching the game on -dx11 but that makes the game incredibly laggy. another fix i found is to delete my deadbydaylight folder in my localappdata and verify my game on steam, however this doesnt always work and makes it so that i have to redo ALL my settings everytime i load the game up bc it requires me to delete my folder and my settings reset. PLEASE FIX THIS ITS BEEN WEEKS PLEASE. ive never had an issue with launching dbd in the entire year ive been playing until this update.
