Steps to Reproduce

1. Load into a game
2. Crash randomly
3. Get matchmaking penalty
4. Hard reset xbox to clear cache
5. Load into game again
6. Still crashes

Explanation

Ever since the release of 9.6.1, DBD has been crashing on my Xbox Series X multiple times leading to a matchmaking ban. The game will randomly freeze and send me to the dashboard with my Xbox Series X power button blinking. It does not matter what I am doing, I will be running, repairing a generator, chasing a survivor, etc. it still sends me to the dashboard. I have never had this issue with DBD before. I have only attempted to play 2v8 since the patch came out, so I’m not sure if it is crashing in normal modes. Crash happens on both killer and survivor at random times. I have also tested leaving the game open on the main menu for a while and it will also crash to the dashboard. I have not opened the Xbox menu or pause menu like others have and it still crashes randomly. Would like to play 2v8 since it ends today, but the game has been unplayable. I will not be playing DBD until this is fixed since I keep receiving a penalty for leaving. Love this game, but please fix this.
