Actual Result:
Plague's purges collide with the survivors
Expected Result:
Plague's purges previously used to 'pierce' through survivors allowing multiple survivors to be hit with the same projectile
Severity:
Major
Reproducibility:
Always
Platform:
Steam
Additional Notes & Comments:
This feature of the purges has been bugged out of the game for about 4 years at this point, Thought I would share here.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. charge a purge
  2. vomit on a survivor, ideally by why they're unhooking or on a gen.
  3. Other survivor or object blocked by the vomit recipient don't get affected

Explanation

Plague's purges collide with the survivor hitboxes rather than pass straight through them. This prevents a Plague from hitting multiple survivors with the same purge or infecting objects with Vile. This is much different from the loss of collision from losing a health state which it often gets confused with. While doesn't seem that severe of a bug, the purges ability to clip through survivors like this allowed an invalidated projectile multiple chances to hit. Gameplay video attached, excuse my commentary
