Steps to Reproduce
- Start repairing a generator
- Release the repair action at the same time a skill check notification occurs
- activate skill check protection
- return to the generator with repair action
- Receive instant guaranteed skill check failures
- profit
Explanation
Skill Check Protection Busted.
As with other reports, skill check protection is busted. Releasing the repair action simultaneously with a skill check notice is supposed to cancel the skill check. I can now confirm that activating skill check protection will cause an unavoidable guaranteed failed skill check - this check occurs without any notification or visual inicators of a regular skill check.
This may be related to other bugs reported relating to skill checks however, my report in particular shows that there is, without a doubt, an issue related to skill check protections.
Getting a skill check, releasing the repair action in time, then returning to a repair will cause a failed skill check, without any indication that a skill check is in progress. Only think I would like to know is if there is a time limit to this or if, for example, moving to a nearby generator will transfer the failure to the new gen.
