Steps to Reproduce

Killer had HEX: Plaything. I found my totem and it was blocked.
Decided to “try” and cleanse it. Was able to.

Explanation

I was able to cleanse a totem that was blocked by HEX: Plaything(?) and I am positive you are unable to do so until the black things surrounding it disappear
