It would be so awesome if you could grab downed teammates from their vest straps to drag them to cover, picture this your friend just went down in combat and your in a house with an enemy apache right above you imagine dragging your friend out of the house as it gets blown up just making it out in time wouldn't that be awesome it would make the game very different from others and give the players the adrenaline they crave while playing the game. Just sayin.
