'Placement Failed' Error When Transforming Stacked Shapes

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to my plot
2. Place down a basic cube
3. Stack another cube or shape on it
4. Try to move, paint, or transform the stacked item
5. Observe the 'placement failed' message

Explanation

i keep getting placememnt failed when i transform basic shapes, this happens on two of my plots as of now and neither have what i think is too many shapes, it does work on other plots too but this is frustrating since im trying to finish one of my builds. basically any parts i stack on eachother oro place down ii cant transform or paint,
