Explanation

Avatar Editor Woes - More Comprehensive Report

With roleplaying being such a significant aspect of Bloxburg, The outdated avatar editor is prone to bugs, outdated in heads. It's what hinders bloxburg from prospering and competing with other roleplay games.

With the current UI, All players have to punch in codes manually to create outfits. This poses a challenge especially for mobile users. Aswell as the glitches with 3d clothing, accessories and emotes showing up as selected in the Menu, But dont appear on the outfit or in the Emotes menu upon editing. (Note: Emotes sometimes dont show up without editing).

The recent conversion of faces to heads by roblox, makes bloxburgs avatar creator even more obsolete. Now the situation is you either have to hide your default face with accessories, Or actually own the head you want and use the "Default Bodies" Button in the avatar editor which many players dont have the robux for. This poses challenges to users who want to create any avatar they want freely and impacts things like filming a movie. A new head system is desperately needed.

Most if not All players do not want a paywall hindering them from getting into the flow. I can see that grinding for $60 Bloxbux makes roleplaying less interesting. So thereby I suggest that outfit slots should be made free as competing roleplay games do not have a paywall on slots but I also sympathize with development needing persistent player counts so maybe free up to 7 slots, beyond that paying makes sense to keep players intrigued and for the game to continue to be sustainable. Players with existing outfits should recieve a refund while keeping their outfit data. And to keep the game sustainable clothing should definetly be cheaper to buy but not free.

And I'll Reiterate this again. The Development team should really consider prioritizing this as its been long overdue and most of the updates recently cater to the Building community rather than the roleplaying community. Thank you.

ALSO TO MENTION:

  1. Only Happens in Servers with other players, not Empty Neighbourhoods / Public Servers by yourself. (It works normally to edit an outfit if you're in a server by yourself)
  2. Only Occurs in new sessions different than the one you saved your outfit in.

The only work arounds Ive seen is to deselect everything then press the select button to save it, Rejoin and punch in the codes again to make your outfit from scratch, Note 2d clothing isnt affected. And the other way is to just edit it in an empty server.

NOTE: 1st image is proof of me wearing items, second image is upon exiting the editor. Doesn't matter whether on mobile or PC.
