Explanation
Bug Report – Project Ventura (Roblox)
Title: Critical Console Compatibility Issues – Unable to Get a Job or Buy a Car on PlayStation
Game: Project Ventura (Roblox)
Platform: PlayStation (Console)
Severity: Critical / Game-Breaking
Description
Project Ventura currently has several major controller compatibility issues on PlayStation that make it impossible for console players to progress normally. Some interactions appear to only work with keyboard controls, and certain UI elements cannot be selected with a controller.
Issue 1: Cannot Select the Job Button
Steps to Reproduce:
- Launch Project Ventura on PlayStation.
- Open the menu used to get a job.
- Attempt to move the cursor to the button located in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Expected Result:
The cursor should be able to reach the button, allowing PlayStation players to select it and get a job.
Actual Result:
The cursor cannot reach or select the button at all. Because of this, console players are completely unable to get a job.
Impact:
Players cannot earn money through jobs, preventing normal progression.

Issue 2: Keyboard Prompt (“Press E”) Appears on Console
Steps to Reproduce:
- Walk up to a door or interactable location.
- The game displays the prompt “Press E.”
- Try every PlayStation button and controller input.
Expected Result:
The game should display the appropriate PlayStation button prompt (such as Square, X, Triangle, etc.), and the interaction should work.
Actual Result:
The prompt still says “Press E,” and none of the PlayStation buttons interact with the door. As a result, players cannot enter certain locations or buy a car.
Impact:
Console players are blocked from accessing important parts of the game and cannot purchase a vehicle.

Overall Impact
These controller compatibility issues make Project Ventura extremely difficult, if not impossible, to play on PlayStation. Two major progression systems—getting a job and buying a car—are inaccessible due to controller/UI problems.
Suggested Fixes
- Fully optimize the UI for PlayStation controllers.
- Ensure every menu button is reachable with the controller cursor.
- Replace keyboard-only prompts (such as “Press E”) with proper PlayStation button prompts.
- Verify that all interactable objects support controller input.
This should be treated as a high-priority issue because it prevents console players from progressing through the game at all.
