Game freezes and GPU malfunctions when interacting with game window

Steps to Reproduce

1. Boot up the game and observe the logos passing by
2. Wait for the 'Press any key' screen to appear
3. Notice the game freezing in place at the 'Press any key' screen
4. Attempt to click on the game window with the mouse and observe the mouse getting stuck
5. ALT/TAB out to another screen and observe the screen returning to normal with the 'Continue' screen
6. Drag the mouse on the 'Continue' screen and observe its responsiveness
7. Click on the screen to jump back to the game window and notice it freezing again
8. Repeat the ALT/TAB process to observe the screen returning to normal and the GPU starting to run
9. Verify that no mods are installed
10. Confirm that the game has been reinstalled several times and game files have been verified on Steam
11. Observe that the problem only appears with this specific game (DRG) and other games are working normally

Explanation

The game locks in place when I click on the window its on. The GPU dose not work when it happens.
