| Additional Notes & Comments: |
This bug is not consistent across players. Resetting the computer, uninstalling the game, and updating drivers and controllers does not have any effect on this bug. It is also not an interaction between the mouse/devices and the controller. I tested by removing my mouse and it still occurs. What I did find effects it though, is the fps. If the settings are set to 120fps, it happens. If I set it to 90, it stops.

Steps to Reproduce
- Open the game
- Attempt to use controller in main menu at fps of 120
Explanation
I at first misunderstood this to be a bug that was constant. But after some testing I found that it appears to be some kind of interaction between the controller connection and the fps.
If I attempt to play at 120fps like before, the controller stutters and shortly later loses the ability to move. If I wiggle the mouse, I can reset it, but it'll lose connection again if moved the same way.
I experimented with updating everything, removing my mouse, uninstalling and reinstalling, and deleting my dead by daylight file from my local folder. When I did that, my bug stopped, but then came back shortly after.
I retraced my steps by deleting the ini folder file again and testing each setting 1 by 1 until the bug started. I finally tracked the setting to the fps. If I play at 120fps like normal, the bug occurs and causes the controller to lose connection. If I drop it to 90 it restores full controller capabilities.
