Explanation

an enemy team member can switch sides, take an important vehicle like a tank
and then just sit there.
So the defending team can't use the asset.
so if an enemy team member has a second headset, they can join both headsets in the game, use 2 different accounts, one on each team, and then take a vehicle and set the headset down and play on their main team, while the other account is just holding the asset and keeping the other team from using it.
