Steps to Reproduce

  1. Find first workbench.
  2. Use workbench, but don't upgrade anything.
  3. Make swap weapon: use second workbench, or use weapon crate, or use expenite upgrade in 'jumble' mutator.
  4. Return to first workbench.
  5. Upgrade a non-existent upgrade that is not available for the selected weapon (For example: Trident 'Rate of Fire' from Minigun).

Explanation

You can upgrade your weapon in a way that isn't possible in the upgrade pool, where, for example, one weapon has weakpoint damage and another doesn't.

For Trident (energic shotgun) — it doesn't have a Rate of Fire upgrade, but the minigun does. If you interact with the first workbench without upgrading anything, then use a weapon crate, or use a second workbench, or expenite upgrade in jumble mutator to swap weapon, and then return to the first workbench you wanted to upgrade the minigun, you can still upgrade it as if you had a minigun (remember, you upgraded from a minigun to a shotgun).

In the screenshot, I've upgraded the shotgun to a Rate of Fire upgrade, even though it shouldn't exist. What's funny is that on the mission completion screen, when viewing builds, you can see that the shotgun has a "purple" quality, but the Rate of fire and only four upgrades are shown (4 upgrades is a blue quality).
