Explanation

In gauntlet I found a weapon toolkit in the same stage I got a weapon upgrade from the elevator. The game told me to deposit it (I think) but I couldn't. I couldn't bring it to the workbench on the elevator ether and there was no other workbench in the stage.
I could even take it to the next stage. It is very confusing tho, I don't think it is intended
