Intercom Message Not Playing in Deep Rock Galactic

Steps to Reproduce

1. After playing the tutorial, a notification appeared that there was a message on the intercom.
2. I walked around the rig, looking for the intercom.
3. I found the intercom, pressed 'E' to play the message, but no sound played and no subtitles appeared, and nothing happened besides the 'Press E' disappearing.
4. I walked away for a minute, came back, and pressed 'E' again. Same result as the previous step.
5. I repeated the previous step about 3 times, to the same result.

Explanation

Intercom message does not play at all. Prompt "Press E to play message" disappears when E is pressed but does not play any message.
