Steps to Reproduce
- Enter build mode.
- Select a basic shape that was already placed in my build.
- Try to copy/duplicate the shape and place it somewhere else.
- Observe that the copied shape does not place correctly or the game gives a “negative input/value” type error.
- Try to use the color tool or copy colors/materials onto the shape.
- Observe that the game does not allow the color/material to be applied.
- Note that this happens with multiple basic shapes in my build and started randomly.
Explanation
Hi, I’m having a serious problem in build mode with basic shapes.
When I try to copy a basic shape and place it somewhere else, the game does not let me place the copied version. Because of this, I have to manually recreate the exact same shape again every single time instead of copying it normally.
I’m also unable to copy/apply colors or materials to some shapes. The game simply does not let me do it anymore, and sometimes I get a “negative input/value” type error.
This started randomly and it’s making building extremely difficult because a large part of my house uses custom basic shapes. I already tried restarting Roblox, changing servers, deleting parts of the build, and testing other areas, but the issue continues.
Could you please check if this is a known bug or help me fix it?
Thank you.
